Marcelo Ortiz-Villavicencio

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Emory University, working on Econometrics problems related to causal inference, machine learning, difference-in-differences, and panel data under the supervision of Prof. Pedro Sant’Anna.

Before beginning my doctoral studies, I worked in the tech sector as Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer, and also served as a Research Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank.
